All About Vanderhoof Birth Work
My Story
I was called to doula work after seeing the positive effects of having a doula had on women labouring in hospital. After my own birth where my midwife acted as a doula after my medical care had to be handed off to an obstetrician I experience the positive effects first hand. This led me to pursue doula training and I now offer personalized birthing support. My goal is to give you and your family the attention and knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy and labor process. Birthing Guidance
With my Birthing Guidance, I offer unwavering support to you and your family before, during and after birth. Birth of all kinds is valid and I am happy to support you to work towards your dream birth. Doula care is not exclusive to people who are hoping to have an all natural delivery. A doula is a tool to support you in YOUR birth YOUR way
Prenatal Visits
I take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. By offering Prenatal Visits, my goal is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby. During these visits we go over comfort measures and techniques as well as help to develop your birth plan.
